- 11:00 am – 12:00 pm: Taking A Fresh Look Brings Rewards – Custom Application Review through Process Mapping: Many times in order to move forward we have to take a close look at what we’re doing today. In this session we’ll walk through E.A. Dion’s experience with Process Mapping in order to determine a path forward for their custom applications to set the stage for a VISUAL Upgrade. We’ll cover the reasons why E.A. Dion undertook this project, how we approached the evaluation, and what the next steps will be! Presented by Melissa Carvalho of E.A. - 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Comparative Review of Material Planning and Production Scheduling Methods and Techniques: This enlightening session will explore different methodologies in material planning and production scheduling. We will examine the nuances of traditional MRP (Material Requirements Planning) versus DDMRP (Demand Driven MRP), as well as compare traditional Finite Capacity Scheduling with innovative approaches like Drum-Buffer-Rope (DBR) and Protected Flow Manufacturing (PFM). Gain valuable insights into which techniques might best enhance your operational strategies. Presented by Mark Lilly of LillyWorks.

Experienced tour guides will lead groups through the facility, where representatives from various departments will provide insightful overviews of their operations.
