In this session we’ll walk through E.A. Dion’s experience with Process Mapping in order to determine a path forward for their custom applications to set the stage for a VISUAL Upgrade. We’ll cover the reasons why E.A. Dion undertook this project, how we approached the evaluation, and what the next steps will be! Presented by Melissa Carvalho of E.A. We will examine the nuances of traditional MRP (Material Requirements Planning) versus DDMRP (Demand Driven MRP), as well as compare traditional Finite Capacity Scheduling with innovative approaches like Drum-Buffer-Rope (DBR) and Protected Flow Manufacturing (PFM).
