Workshop Topic:
Receive purchase order into an inspection location to quarantine incoming parts for inspection.
Why Use:
Receiving Inspection will identify purchased parts requiring inspection prior to release to the shop floor or stock location. Control, contain and disposition incoming receipts.
Workshop Description (2 hours):
During this session, the attendees will learn how to set up purchased parts to require inspection, view the receiving inspection window, release, return or partially release/return product. Your instructor will spend 30-40 minutes reviewing the training material. The remaining time will be dedicated to the execution of receipt of parts and disposition in the receiving inspection window.

Quality, Supply Chain, and Production Planning staff will benefit from this training.

Upon completion of this workshop attendees should be able to set up parts and act on receipts in the receiving inspection window.
Workshop Prerequisite:
This is a hands-on workshop. Attendees should have working knowledge of the VISUAL ERP system. Attendees must also have security rights and access to a recent copy of a restored test database.
